Where does Bellingen Film Lovers take place?

The Memorial Hall screens films?
You bet!
In fact, cinema is in the Memorial Hall’s DNA – the building was funded, 100 years ago, from the proceeds of running an outdoor picture house and today, following an $9M upgrade, your local community hall is equipped to present films in modern comfort, with awesome sound.
How much are tickets?
Full Price: $18.50 + $1 booking fee (bf)
Concession (pensioners & students with ID): $16.50 + $1 bf
Children (under 16): $13.50 +$1 bf

Are there any free screenings?
Yes - The Wild Robot is a free screening and perfect for families.
While it’s free to attend, you must book a ticket to guarantee a seat.
Is there an age restriction for attending the festival?
Each film listing includes the Australian classification. Customer discretion is advised when selecting appropriate films for younger viewers.
Please note The Substance is a strictly 18+ screening.
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Yes!
Our box office accepts cash and EFTPOS payments and is open 30 minutes prior to each screening.
To purchase tickets at other times, please buy online.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes!
A large free carpark is located at the rear of the building, off Creek Lane. Head up the stairs at the back of the building or take the laneway through to Hyde Street, to enter through the front doors.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes!
The venue features flat ramp access, a lift (on request) and a T-switch hearing loop. See the venue website for more details.
Do you accept companion card bookings?
Yes!

Will food and drink be available at the venue?
Yes!
A licensed bar with beers, wines, soft drinks and snacks, including popcorn and Choc Tops, is available in the Hall foyer 30 minutes prior to each screening and also during the intermission.
What was that about an intermission?
This year we’re reintroducing a key characteristic of the classic era of cinema: the intermission.
During the break, audience members can pop to the loo, then refill their glasses and popcorn buckets at the bar.
You can also buy a Choc Top from an OzGreen volunteer and support their riverbank regeneration project.
Can I volunteer at the festival?
Yes!
Our fabulous team of volunteers get to watch a lot of free films.
In exchange, they supervise ticketed entry, ushering and other front of house tasks during the festival.
